Local
  • Facilitated the establishment of the Sunshine Coast Hear and Say Centre in Nambour.
  • Extension of the Meals on Wheels kitchen that provides hot, nutritious meals to the aged and infirm.
  • Supported construction of Reed Charity House, which provides accommodation for families of the critically ill at Nambour General Hospital.
  • Major contributor to the Doug Briggs Bridge that connects Reed Charity House to Nambour Hospital.
  • Support for Katie Rose Cottage (Sunshine Coast Community Hospice), which provides care to terminally ill people and their Carers living on the Sunshine Coast.
  • Support for Woombye Care (Sunshine Coast Aged Care), which provides quality aged care elderly and disabled.
  • Rotary Bowelscan project to promote awareness, testing and prevention of bowel cancer.
  • Financial support and vocational training for The Shack Community Centre, which provides for the needs and concerns of many community members, in particular young people in Nambour.
  • Support for Compass Farm, a facility dedicated to providing real futures for young Queenslanders with a disability, with the donation of the Rotary Spinning Wheel and a commercial size freezer, plus the fitout out of a shed for art classes and enclosing an area for equipment security.
  • Operation of the Rotary Food Stall at the Sunshine Coast Showground to raise funds for community projects. The stall operates during the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show, Caravan and Camping Expo, Queensland Garden Expo and Sunshine Coast Antique Car Club Swapmeet.
